Liverpool didn't deserve to win but they also didn't deserve to lose by a freakish goal that even officials and pundits can't agree whether the goal should have stood or not!(Either you carry on regardless when there are objects on the pitch OR if the flight of the ball is affected by an outside agent then it is a drop ball).

the goal stood despite a Fifa law which states: "The referee stops, suspends or terminates the match because of outside interference of any kind."
If you are in any doubt about whether it should have stood or not check out all the statements coming out from past and present referees also check out the referee website and its forum it has a consensus that it should never have been allowed.
As I say tho liverpool never deserved to win just should have had a point from a dull 0-0 instead of losing by controversially ignoring basic laws of the game.

I agree it shouldnt of, but remember who put the ball on the pitch in the first place? no it wasnt a sunderland fan, it was ... a liverpool fan.
Its just bad luck
How big is next weeks game agaist us now...... we win your in big trouble .. you can kiss goodbye to the title and your in trouble with top4
you cant sit back an play for draw really, you have to win which should make it an interesting game, were not playing great ourselfs but atleast we top of table lol

Its a big if. but cant say am confident we not playing brilliant, all though our away record this season is better than home lol we let 7 goals in at home, only 2 away
Aslong as we can hold on and be there abouts come january ill be very happy .... Not just because we will be better second half of season but i think we will sign someone in january, maybe david silva theres alot of rumours the clubs or talking but cant agree on a fee. david Villa aswel . i just think were a player short theres something missing. Some big games coming up, after liverpool next week we play chelsea away few week after.

Roll on Chelsea VS Man Utd a good old fashioned no score draw and Liverpool will be 2 points behind Man Utd and 4 points off top (With Arsenal 1 and 3 behind, also Spurs will be in mix but they're playing Sunderland and Bent's gonna have a point to prove against his old team who just left him to rot on bench)Pundits may be right for a change this could be a very close title race between many teams-can't really judge I suppose(as usual)until after xmas.

Well if we play like we did on sunday, chelsea will hammer us .. there a better team than liverpool.
Still cant believe scholes got outbustled in midfield by lucas it was funny but also a shock, ando wouldnt of... i think anderson will leave at end of season, the guys got so much talent only 21 but needs games, fergie plays him as our main midfielder the last 4 games then back to fergie tactics changing the midfield an dropping ando, i dont understand it. He gives to much respect to these old players, scholes is still a decent player but not in these big games anymore.
Anyway for the title race, it will be close

Aother poor performance, united all season have probably played at 70% but yet were second and only 2points off top...whats that say about the league.
we play like we have the last few games next week agaist chelsea an we will get hammered
Changes needed in january thats why i hope we can hold on untill then.
I dont think we have enough to win the league, but in saying that i can only see 2 teams winning it us or chelsea.
