Young Spaniard gives strong hint he could move to Old Trafford...
Valencia forward David Silva has given the strongest indication yet that he is interested in a move to Manchester United.
The Spaniard has been closely monitored by Sir Alex Ferguson for the last few months, and the United manager has sent scouts to two of Silva’s games this season, The Daily Mirror reports.
The 23-year-old, who helped Spain win the Euro 2008 title with some eye-catching displays, continued to reiterate his unwavering commitment to Valencia, but also admitted that an offer from the Red Devils may be too good to resist.
“It’s an honour for any player that a club of the prestige of Manchester United should follow them and that in itself is enormous praise,” Silva said.
“I am committed to Valencia and my dream is to win the title but in the future anything is possible.
“Valencia have rejected offers for me in the past few months and I am happy here. But I also know that the Premier League is a big competition and hard to resist.”
Silva was also wanted by Liverpool during the summer, but the Reds were unable to match Valencia’s £30 million asking price.
In contrast, United, still heavily cashed up with the funds from the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, are unlikely to have any problems with financing a deal.

Hope this is true hes quality

DAVID SILVA IS COMING TO UNITED It would surprise me if Liverpool don't have the money since they've signed a new sponsorship deal for the next 4 years (£80M) and arranged to build liverpool academies in middle east with a arab prince-all future income granted but on the back of a poor summer and poor result in champ league it would be huge surprise if rafa didn't claim the money was needed NOW esp. if man utd are moving in on silva-remember liverpool have been monitoring him for 2+years!

But that doesnt mean they have a transfer kitty i doubt they be able to spend 30m where as man utd have the money no problem from the 80m ronaldo and other things. If we wanted we could get him in january and i can see this happening, its the world cup in summer so if he goes there haves a good tournament his value is bound to go up. Hes just what united need aswel, can play on both wings through the middle as a second striker or in midfield and hes very creative.
Yeah and remember man utd monitoring torres for the same and look what happened there. The only thing is its rare fergie ever buys spanish players, and alot of rumours or saying the reason hes not spent any of that money from ronaldo is because this is gonna be his last season and he wants the new manager to have money to build another team. i doubt that though, 80m+ to spend if needed
