Arbitration panel has found in favour of Keegan and has found he was constructively dismissed(ie they broke a fundemental term of his contract by signing gonzalez against his wishes therefore contract was broken so he was allowed to quit) He wanted £16.7 M in lost earnings + damages-he was approx £3M a year but his contract stated if contract was broken then £2M was due to him, since they've been arguing their case and have not paid their is now interest of over a year due on this so he'll probably get about the year's salary that he would have earned since then.
Opinions please-personally I think they got off lightly (If I was a manager and the club signed a player after I'd specifically said no then I'd walk out too!)
